Duties:

  • Prepare and negotiate letters of intent, purchase agreements, assignments, and closing documents.
  • Review and analyze all aspects of financing and closing for complex transactions.
  • Handle various types of lending and financing transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Independently manage assigned matters from inception to conclusion while meeting deadlines.
  • Provide legal advice on real estate matters and transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to achieve transaction goals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in real estate law and transactions.
  • Strong background in commercial and real estate transactions.
  • Portable book of business is a significant asset.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Wisconsin and/or Iowa State Bar in good standing.
  • Admission to practice in Illinois and/or Indiana is beneficial.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, high attention to detail, and advanced document editing skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage projects, and work effectively under time constraints.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Wisconsin and/or Iowa State Bar in good standing.
  • Admission to the Illinois and/or Indiana State Bar is beneficial.
