  • Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategies.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Stay current on changes in laws, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of legal strategies aimed at achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Represent the firm at professional and legal networking events.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on family law.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to apply legal principles to complex cases.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Solid understanding of state court procedures and legal systems.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the South Carolina State Bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in litigation, including case management and trial preparation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to negotiate and advocate effectively in legal settings.
