ProfileParalegal The candidate will maintain both computerized and hard copy of all files and update as necessary. Will prepare drafts of documents or review if prepared by another party, including but not limited to purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, leases, covenants, conditions, exhibits, and closing documents in close consultation with attorney. Review legal documents such as leases, agreements, loan documents, covenants, conditions and site plan exhibits for restrictive covenants such as those governing land use, building heights, permissible building areas, required access ways, etc. Work directly with attorneys, fund administrators, real estate agents, title company, loan officers, and clients during closings and corporate transactions. Draft memoranda, letters, and/or e-mails as needed to facilitate proper communication. Monitor calendar to assure deadlines are met. Prepare reports covering various items as requested by attorneys, auditors, partners and lenders. Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal laws. Regular, on-time attendance. Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Experience working as a corporate and/or real estate paralegal is needed. Bachelor's Degree in Law or paralegal certificate is preferred. Should have 2+ years of experience in the legal field. Should possess strong Microsoft Office application skills (Word, Excel, etc.). Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and client relations skills. Experience should generally include: review of purchase and sale agreements, leases, property management agreements, development agreements, corporate organizational documents and general contracts, and coordination and closing of acquisition, disposition and loan transactions. Experience with title and survey review is preferred.
