Litigation Paralegal Hybrid The candidate will perform full legal secretarial and administrative duties for attorneys under minimal supervision. Electronic Filings in various courts, primarily Federal Courts. Ability to research and obtain filing requirements regarding form of papers, judgeâ€™s standing orders, etc. for various courts. Perform with a high degree of independent judgment and discretion. Assist lawyers in all phases of the litigation process, from discovery through trial and onto post-trial filings and appeals. Assist lawyers preparation for depositions, hearings and trials and document productions. Conduct document searches on computerized systems. File management. Should preferably have 1-3 years of litigation secretary experience. Paralegal certificate preferred. Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and PowerPoint). Should have knowledge of Federal, State and Local rules, court filing procedures, e-filing and service of process.
