ParalegalThe candidate to provide support for the Real Estate practice group. This position involves contact with clients and requires an organized and extremely detail-oriented individual who a self-starter and able to work with multiple attorneys with little supervision. Responsibilities: Reviewing title commitments and surveys zoning reports. Compiling and maintaining corporate organizational and authority documents. Ordering and reviewing due diligence including lien searches. Compiling and filing deeds, mortgages and UCC financing statements. Facilitating and managing closing and post-closing matters. Preparing closing and recorded document binders. Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background required. Extensive experience reviewing title commitments and surveys are required. Proficiency in Word and Excel required. Should possess 10 years of experience as a real estate paralegal.

V&E should be more open about their interview process and post more opportunities for law students at a variety of their offices.
Pros : V&E has a prominent name and they host the most welcoming receptions. I really enjoy meeting with all of their employees in lots of different locations.Cons : It is very difficult to get an interview at V&E, even if your law school has a relationship with them. They should do something about this.
