Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Garden City is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This position requires at least three years of experience in personal injury law, with the ability to manage a caseload from intake through trial. The ideal candidate will have experience in motor vehicle cases, premises liability, and Labor Law Sections 240 & 241, and be capable of handling a variety of legal tasks, including court appearances, depositions, and negotiations. Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and Labor Law claims.
• Represent clients in court, including making appearances and conducting depositions.
• Handle all phases of discovery and motion practice, ensuring thorough preparation for each case.
• Participate in mediation, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with other team members to strategize and provide optimal legal solutions.
• Maintain detailed and organized records for each case, ensuring compliance with firm procedures and legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Trial experience and comfortability with high-volume case management.
• Proficiency in handling various types of personal injury claims, particularly motor vehicle and premises liability cases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
