Public Health Legal Fellowship The fellow will function as an integral member of the OGC legal team. Provide legal research and analysis on a myriad of health-related issues including the development of briefings to support redress relating to disparities and chronic disease; analyze and develop regulations, legislation, and policy; and draft affidavits in support of science-based policies of DOHMH. Provide legal research and analysis on a myriad of health-related issues including the development of briefings to support redress relating to disparities and chronic disease. Analyze and develop regulations, legislation, and policy. Draft affidavits in support of science-based policies of DOHMH. Should have both a Master's in Public Health (MPH) as well as a law degree (JD). Must have excellent legal research, writing, analytic, and communication skills. An interest in health care, public health, civil rights, and social justice is essential. Should be self-motivated and have the proven ability to work with a wide range of people. Note: This is a grant-funded position starting in August 2022 and ending on August 31, 2023. Application Deadline: June 20, 2022.
