Corporate Paralegal Duties: Preparing and maintaining corporate records, filing annual reports and maintaining minute books and other business records; Drafting and preparing minutes, consents, stock certificates and related transfer documents; Assisting with corporate and LLC document review and analysis; Researching state laws regarding foreign qualifications, blue sky compliance and other business matters; Preparing Audit Letters for distribution to auditors and clients Drafting and arranging for UCC filings, amendments, assignments and terminations relating primarily to secured transactions, and conduct computerized lien searches; Preparing closing checklists, coordinate closings, follow-up on post-closing items, including preparation of related closing indices and binders.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate. 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience in a law firm. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel. Extensive knowledge of corporate/business/LLC terminology, processes and procedures. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to work well with clients. Solid team player. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office. Strong attention to detail. Self-starter; ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good judgment and decision-making ability. "Great Environment with a Great Group of People"

There really is nothing that I would change. Murtha Cullina has provided me a chance to do what I want to do in life with a great group of people. There are just a few people that need to tone down their attitudes.

Pros : The people here are wonderful. Training covered everything, but when a problem arose, there were always people willing to help me out. The people here make you feel like you belong.
Cons : Like with any workplace, you will always have a bit of office politics. The same goes with Murtha Cullina. Thankfully, though, the vast majority of interactions I make during the day are civil with friendly faces.
