Chief of the Appellate Unit The candidate will serve as Chief of the Appellate Unit. Represents the Commonwealth in accordance with the District Attorney’s statutory authority in the various courts in Plymouth County, the Supreme Judicial Court, the Supreme Judicial Court for Plymouth County, the Appeals Court and courts in other counties. Should have 10 years’ experience with substantial appellate experience, including written and oral advocacy, as well as trial/litigation and managerial experience. The desired candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of a proven and demonstrated track record of leading a successful team of attorneys. Must have experience on a senior management team. Must be able to display recent, relevant management experience to include all personnel subjects such as performance management and unit efficiency, time management, work load and assignments, employee training and development, employee engagement and general supervision.
