This role involves assisting with a high volume of litigation cases, including drafting legal documents, conducting discovery, and performing legal research. Duties

• Handle a high volume of litigation cases, primarily focused on divorce and family law.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and court filings.
• Assist in the discovery process, gathering and reviewing relevant information for cases.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare for court appearances and hearings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files and maintain detailed records of legal proceedings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a preference for family law cases.
• Strong understanding of family law litigation processes, including discovery and court procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
