Legal Assistant Duties: Case documents and file work. Correspondence obligations. Obtaining information and documentation from online referrals. Following up on referral paperwork. Provide office support to include scanning, filing, answering the phone, etc.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: High school diploma required. JST and TABS3 knowledge a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Outlook. Must take initiative, be pro-active and possess energetic follow-through skills. Good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude. Highly skilled with technology with the ability to work paperless. Ability to follow directions is extremely important. Good verbal/written skills are paramount for this position. Ability to type is required. Must be able to copy and scan records and place the PDF’s in the appropriate file on the server and processing system. Requires good teamwork skills to work with the paralegals and lawyers to determine what tasks they can help with.
