Lead Commercial Counsel - Mobile, AI and Connectivity
Duties: Contract drafting, negotiation, strategy and advisory responsibilities for business development, partnerships, product and engineering teams. Provide practical and effective strategic business and legal advice to develop a comprehensive, long-term approach for our relationships with key partners. Commercial transaction support for other departments as required. Administration and resolution of legal issues that arise in commercial relationships. Prioritize and manage simultaneous legal matters under tight timelines. Potentially manage and direct outside counsel.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: JD degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar. 5+ years of experience, including in-house experience with internet or technology companies and/or at a law firm. Demonstrated experience with complex technology transactions with leading edge technology companies, OEMs, mobile operators, chipset vendors, infrastructure, and/or cloud service providers. Must be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary to complete projects in a timely fashion. Preferred Qualifications: Technology transactions experience at or for cloud service providers (either in-house and/or at a global law firm). Experience drafting custom agreements from scratch (i.e. not from existing templates). Experience working both independently and cross-functionally utilizing legal judgment and strategic thinking to close complex transactions. Experience with data privacy regulations and cross-border.
