Workers Compensation Legal Assistant The candidate will perform legal assistant/secretarial duties in a fast paced firm with emphasis on workers Compensation insurance defense. Prepare, process, and maintain detailed legal documents, business correspondence, invoices. Enter timesheet information and review and send out monthly bills. Schedule and keep multiple calendars. Compose, edit, and type documents from transcription machine. Filing and e-filing in various courts. Must have high school graduation, some college preferred. Prefer minimum of 3 years' experience as a legal secretary or legal assistant. Excellent writing ability. Complex problem solving. Good time management. Legal terminology. Attention to detail. Ability to work within strict deadlines. Must know Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer. TimeSlips and Time Matters usage additionally preferred.
