Corporate Compliance Manager The candidate supports the day-to-day functions of the Compliance department as well as special projects and assessments through data analysis, process improvement, auditing, report development, and policy maintenance. Develops clear, complicated qualitative and/or quantitative analyses in support of Corporate Compliance programs and initiatives. Develops innovative, interactive, and informative training on a variety of compliance and privacy topics. Partners effectively with business leaders to develop, implement, and monitor key compliance functions and risk areas in accordance with OIG guidance for clinical laboratory compliance programs. Provides analysis and summary reports on an “ad-hoc”, as well as routine basis to a variety of internal clients. Responsible for maintenance of peripheral databases and trackers that support Corporate Compliance reporting needs. Works independently on “ad-hoc” and routine assignments. Supports identification of key Compliance risk areas. Manages time effectively and regularly meets expected deadlines. Must have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Master’s degree or JD degree is preferred. Should have 8+ years of business experience. 3+ years healthcare compliance experience is desired. Prior clinical laboratory or other medical experience preferred (Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, etc.). Advanced data analysis, data mining, and medical coding experience is helpful. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is must. Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and reporting compliance gaps and/or internal controls, articulating appropriate recommendations, monitoring and testing for compliance is essential.
