Senior Counsel The candidate will be responsible for: Contributing to the review and interpretation of privacy laws, regulations, regulatory frameworks and other external standards and integrating them into the companyâ€™s technology solutions. Contributing to the development of regulatory rules methodologies to support the companyâ€™s technology platform. Playing a key role in managing our internal privacy and data governance program and contributing to the â€œtest labâ€ for privacy solutions. Contributing to the companyâ€™s privacy and data protection risk management and maturity methodologies and integrating them into the companyâ€™s technology platform. Contributing to the legal analysis and associated content development for the companyâ€™s partnership efforts. Supporting the General Counsel and Chief Data Governance Officer on transactional, corporate, intellectual property, and other legal matters as needed. Representing our team and the company at external privacy and data governance forums. J.D. required and licensed to practice in California or another U.S. state. Should have CIPP, CIPT or CIPM preferred or expected to achieve within first year in role. Must have 3+ years of legal experience (and at least 6 years of legal experience for Senior Counsel role), including prior in house legal or law firm experience. Should have experience with developing and implementing a privacy program or significant components of a comprehensive privacy program.
