Criminal Law - Prosecution
2019 - Adjunct Faculty - Justice Studies/Criminal Justice Duties : Will teach 3-14 contact hours each semester. Provide required skills assistance to students. Assist in developing course blueprints. Assist in developing internship sites and articulation agreements with other colleges for the Justice Studies program. Serve on campus committees and participate in campus events. Ensure instructional success and model lifelong learning through continuous professional development. Complete and maintain a teaching portfolio. Be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend class at any of our area campuses.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate should have a Graduate degree in Criminal Justice or J.D. required. Substantive employment experience in the field desired, particularly in criminal investigation. Successful teaching experience and excellent classroom skills as reflected in classroom observations, student evaluations, course documentation, etc. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success. Should have commitment to continuous curriculum enhancement and application of best practices. Strong team player. Should have demonstrated ability to make meaningful and positive connections with diverse student body in a career college environment.
