A law firm in New York City is seeking an Asset-Backed Finance Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of experience in handling asset-backed finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising issuers, underwriters, placement agents, and collateral managers in all aspects of structured finance offerings. The candidate must be admitted to practice and in good standing in New York.

Duties:

• Advise issuers, underwriters, placement agents, and collateral managers on structured finance offerings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate documentation related to asset-backed finance transactions.
• Conduct due diligence and provide strategic advice on complex finance matters.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of transactions.
• Stay current with relevant regulations, market trends, and legal developments in the asset-backed finance sector.
• Assist in the structuring and closing of asset-backed securities and other structured finance products.
• Provide ongoing legal support and counsel to clients on post-closing matters and compliance issues.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in asset-backed finance transactions.
• Demonstrated expertise in advising on structured finance offerings.
• Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment affecting asset-backed finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law and in good standing in New York.
