Atlanta office of our client seeks a managing attorney with 5 years of experience. The candidate will lead and develop the closing attorneys and shape the legal aspects of the firm. Will assist with running the firm's operations in title, closings, and closing attorney responsibility management. Oversee law office operations, including establishing the law firm structure, communicating, and enforcing team values, and contributing to both tactical and strategic business decisions to achieve our overall company goals. Mentor, train, motivate, and develop closing attorneys and facilitate their standard operating procedures and relationships with support staff to strengthen the legal team and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive work environment. Identify and pursue ways to improve efficiency and consistency in work and information flow within the law firm, between the staff attorneys and operation staff. Monitor staff attorneys and assist other managers in resource allocation decisions. Oversee and manage recruitment, hiring, and professional development of all closing attorneys. Ensure that the firm is achieving its client satisfaction goals by evaluating productivity and quality of service and making recommendations for improvement. Institute consistent processes of title and file review to develop closing attorney ownership and accountability in file management. Draft or guide the drafting of legal documents to ensure legality, thoroughness, and internal consistency of settlement requirements. Facilitate own client relationships as a closing attorney. Must have a four-year Bachelor's degree and a three-year law degree from an accredited law school / Notary Public. Should be an active member in good standing of the State Bar. Management experience in a very fast-paced environment is essential. Decision-making, public speaking, and supervisory experience are required. Should have advanced proficiency in computer skills, reviewing reports, and budgets.
