Senior Corporate Paralegal Duties: Review a wide range of manufacturing contracts. Limit liability contracts with high risk and special provisions and make sure the contract complies with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies. Explain the legal and risk management basis for proposed redlines to Management, Sales, and Operations Staff. Respond to requests for contract reviews promptly. Review insurance requirements to ensure they are compatible with coverage. Negotiate redlines to contracts, prepare addendums, and correspond with internal and external customers to finalize and execute contracts. Maintain, review and draft legal language to vendor service contracts and vendor credit applications for locations prior to Managements execution. Deliver support and assistance to Sales, Management, and Operations Staff to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and customer requirements. Work as a team to implement and provide all aspects of Contract Administration to all company business units, including those outside of assigned business units. Understand location needs and implement improvements where needed. Multi-task various projects with little to no supervision in a professional work environment.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Preferred Bachelor Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or 9+ years of relevant experience. Experience reviewing contracts, preferably manufacturing contracts. Knowledge of basic insurance principles, policy forms and standard construction coverages. Critical thinking and comprehension skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Office 360, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to conduct a detailed review of complex agreements and comprehend contract provisions. Ability to prioritize and multitask while interacting with different types of people. Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications: Paralegal Certificate or JD Degree. Extensive experience reviewing commercial contracts within a manufacturing or EPC organization. Experience designing contract administrative procedures and working within a delegation of authority system.
