Paralegal, International Operations The candidate will conduct an initial review and analysis of requests for Master Service Agreements, Statement of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements, Service Agreements, and Licensing Agreements to ensure adherence to LL Global legal rules and policies to avoid costly legal exposure for LL Global. Review contract documents initiated by external parties. Use LIMRA and LOMA approved contracts templates, prepare contract drafts and coordinate the initial review process with the manager and LIMRA and LOMA sales reps as needed. Serve as contractual liaison between staff and the other parties, ensuring timely review, approval and/or reconciliation or requested variations to contract terms and conditions, advice divisional managers and legal of contract terms and conditions that pose a risk to the organization. Prepare final contract for execution: log fully executed contracts; maintain contract log and manage existing contracts in Salesforce. Monitor existing contracts /SOW renewals, and end dates and notify sales reps to promote and ensure ongoing business. Develop a depth understanding of the organization and its business in order to provide effective recommendations related to adapting contract templates to specific projects. Partner in negotiating with outside parties on routine modifications to contract terms and collaborating with the legal department as needed. Suggest modifications to contract templates to suit business needs, ensure proposed changes, receive appropriate management, legal review and approval. Create and /or modify SOP’s to build on existing contractual templates and business experiences; administer processes to ensure consistent use of best practices. Serve as liaison among various internal departments.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or paralegal certification from an accredited program. Should have 2-4 years of experience in contract review and basic drafting of MSA’s, SOW’s, NDA’s, ICA’s, SA’s, and other legal agreements in a corporate or legal environment. Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy; with excellent proofreading skills. Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize, in order to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously follow through, and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse range of internal and external customers; strong interpersonal skills. Ability to demonstrate initiative and sound judgment even in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and respond to changing demands from multiple sources. Strong worth ethic, business sense, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical skills. Salesforce experience and international Business Experience. Bilingual written and fluent Asian language skills.
