Legal Assistant / Receptionist-Family The candidate will work closely with attorneys and clients. Will answer telephone, screen and direct calls. Receive and sort mail and deliveries. Draft correspondence and court forms (training provided). Communicate with clients, attorneys, court staff. Schedule, coordinate, and confirm court dates, appointments, and meetings. Calendar court filings, hearings, discovery deadlines. File documents with the court. Arrange for the service of court documents. Maintain electronic case files (i.e. scanning and copying) and ensure client access. Manage the office and communicate with vendors. Organize firm events and outings. Order food, snacks, and office supplies. Excellent customer service skill is essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; Computer skills (MS Office, email); Strong organizational and time management skills. Bachelor's Degree is essential. Bachelor's Education is essential.
