Legal / Office Assistant The candidate will be opening and closing client files, drafting, sending and tracking correspondence and record requests, maintaining case tracking charts, preparing and filing motions and subpoenas and conducting legal research. Will be providing reception coverage for the agency. Answering a busy multi-line phone console and routing calls appropriately, greeting visitors and processing mail, faxes and various emails arriving at the receptionist desk. High school diploma or G.E.D required and paralegal certificate or AS degree is strongly preferred. Familiarity with legal document processing and filing either through education or recent experience is essential. General office experience including filing, operating office machines are helpful. Strong computer literacy, typing skills, experience with MS Office Suite is needed. Professional verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be helpful, friendly, and courteous are essential.
