Staff Attorney
Duties: Assist the General Counsel in addressing a wide variety of contractual matters. Will include, assisting in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts, providing support with regulatory matters, and any other needs that the department may require. Draft, manage, review, and negotiate high volume of contracts from all departments. Educate customers on the contract review process. Oversee and manage all functions of Compliance 360 (contract management software). Develop and continually update library of form contracts, clauses and provisions. Research and advise internal customers on various legal matters including regulatory matters, contract law, and general business law. Provide legal counseling and training, particularly with respect to contracting procedures and processes, coupled with the creation of policies and practices to guide customers throughout the contracting process. Manage assigned projects, develop strategies and implementation plans and take an active role in driving projects to final result. Work as a legal generalist with interest and willingness to shoulder and manage additional areas of responsibility over time. Develop strong relationships with customers. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Licensed to practice law in 1+ of the 50 states. 0 - 2 years experience practicing law. 3 - 5 years' contract review/revision experience preferred. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
