Director of Contract Administration Responsibilities: Coordinates and reviews all University contracts for standard requirements and terms. Works with departments to ensure adherence to University contract requirements highlighting issues for Financial Affairs and General Counsel. Coordination of legal and other requirements within all contracts. Reviews contracts for adequate insurance coverage and obtain/provide certificates of insurance. Coordination of insurance reviews with Office of Business Affairs & Risk Management. Reviews all contracts to ensure compliance with University policies. Works with University departments, guiding them through the contract review process, coordinating legal review with Office of General Counsel. Coordinates with Office of Procurement Services regarding the issuance of purchase orders. Coordinates review of agreements for Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT). Coordinates budget review for all financial terms. Prepares contract packet for final authorization and signature. Distribution of signed contracts to appropriate departments and vendors. Ensures fully executed agreements are received where counter signature is required. Oversees and maintains contract inventory and files, including scanning of contract agreements.
Qualification and ExperienceQualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Paralegal/Legal experience required. Significant experience with contract administration. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook required. Team player with excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and technical skills. Superb attention to detail and the ability to work independently on several matters simultaneously. The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-volume operation. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
