LPA Trainee / Paralegal Assistant The candidate will work primarily with the Personal Planning Group and will also provide administrative assistance to other departments, as needed. Main duties will include working directly with paralegals, attorneys, and LPA’s on Estate and Gift Tax Returns, Estate Inventory, Estate Valuation Reports, Recording of Deeds, Client IRS Form work, department conforming, filing, copying, scanning and mail outs. Requires a high school diploma and 1+3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent. AA degree or Paralegal degree/certificate preferred. Practice area specific experience preferred. Basic knowledge of the legal environment is required in addition to excellent internet research skills as well as proficiency with Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn and use custom software.
