Temporary Legal Assistant
The candidate will provide administrative and secretarial support to assigned attorneys and provide backup to other attorneys as requested. Assist with administrative tasks as it relates to the specific office and attorneys. Ability to handle pressure, interruptions and multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines. Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently, with minimal supervision. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Perform administrative duties, including proofreading and editing all materials for extreme accuracy and clarity. E-filing knowledge in preparation to file all types of discovery requests, responses to opposing counsel, and motions. Knowledge of legal documents and terminology. Knowledge of expense reporting, billing and dictation. Assist with calendar calls and deposition scheduling, as needed. Assist with travel plans.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have associates Degree or higher. Must have 1-3 years of law firm experience. Should have excellent writing and communication skills. Must have ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Must have ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
