Litigation Paralegal Duties: Assist with preparation of pleadings and discovery in federal and state court civil matters and arbitration proceedings. Analyze, review and organize privileged documents and data from materials produced during discovery and prepare/coordinate document production. Process e-discovery and client data including manipulation of raw data, culling, filtering, de-duping, and importing and exporting raw data. Cite-checking and assistance with brief and motion preparation. Conduct Westlaw and Pacer research and other research as needed. Complete conflict check/engagement process for new matters.

Requirements: Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved program. 5 years recent law firm experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self-starter with a wide range of e-discovery and case management technical knowledge with willingness to troubleshoot and learn new skills utilizing processing tools. Proficiency in Windows environment, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel. Proficiency with Relativity, Summation, Concordance and/or Case Logistix, including load files. Positive attitude, flexible, team-oriented, professional, detail-oriented, punctual, and strong project management skills. Solid knowledge of California State & Federal law and motion filing procedures and calendaring. Must be able to multi-task. Proficient with document management platforms such as WorkSite.
