In this role, the firm is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 8 years of experience in bankruptcy and insolvency law, along with a demonstrated track record of generating portable revenue of at least $200,000. The selected partner will assume a leadership role in expanding the firm's bankruptcy and insolvency practice, offering expert legal counsel, and managing complex bankruptcy cases encompassing Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 filings. Additionally, the partner will represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution forums. Collaborative teamwork within the firm and the ability to mentor junior attorneys and support staff on bankruptcy matters are crucial aspects of this role. The firm places a strong emphasis on maintaining and growing client relationships, and candidates should possess outstanding negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills. Candidates should have an active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity, as well as a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
