Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be a Graduate of an accredited law school. Certificate of admission and membership in good standing with the Bar of the Supreme Court of Kansas. Admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and admission to (or eligible for admission to) the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. A valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State. Jury trial experience. Knowledge of asset forfeiture procedure. Excellent writing, research and communication skills. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat. Will be subject to a pre-employment screening process to include a fingerprint and name-based criminal history records check and reference/background check of past and present employers. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, strong work ethic and superb team building ethos are required.
