Personal Injury Case Manager/Legal Assistant The candidate will be interviewing new clients and preparing new client files. Will be monitoring client’s medical treatment. Sending requests for information, including medical record requests. Maintaining/organizing client files. Preparation and filing of general correspondence, e-mails, demand packages and/or other legal documents. Reviewing and processing of incoming and outgoing attorney mail. Related copying, scanning, faxing, etc. Provide relief for receptionist on phones. Preparing waiver and reduction letters. Assisting attorney in managing settlements and preparation of settlement disclosure statements. Preparing closed files for offsite storage; and other duties assigned on an as-needed basis.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 2+ years of Case Manager/Legal Assistant experience. Preferred Personal Injury experience essential. Superb organizational skills needed. Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe essential. Excellent written and verbal communication needed.
