Legal Assistant-Corporation The candidate will prepare legal documents related to new and ongoing litigation. Will create and track various department reports and statistics. Prepare correspondence and coordinate court appearances for in-house counsel and outside counsel. Act as liaison between company and outside attorneys. Attend court proceedings, if necessary. Investigate account information and take appropriate action. Update internal computer systems with appropriate case information. Use professional communication (verbal and written) with all internal and external contacts. Some other administrative duties (copying, scanning, filing, mailing, etc.).
