General Litigation Legal Assistant The candidate duties will include: running and reviewing court dockets; Monitoring and resolution of title issues; Handle senior lien bidding at foreclosure sales as 3rd parties on behalf of clients; Monitoring and resolution of tax deeds; Monitoring and resolution of general litigation type files; Daily communication with clients in a professional manner; Completion of monthly status updates to clients via preferred method of communication; Assist attorney in all aspects and areas of a statewide practice as needed; Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, opposing counsel, court clerks, etc. Will be required to track and record time spent on files. Must have some foreclosure experience in at least one area. Experience in various lines of law practice (ie code enforcement, general litigation, deficiency judgments, HOA/Condo defense, replevin, appeals, etc) a plus. Experience working with industry related client systems required. Must have PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.
