Assistant Attorney General The candidate will join Healthcare Team The Division's attorneys are divided up into three teams – the General Practice Team, the Employment Team, and the Healthcare Team. The Healthcare Team advises and represents: The University's multi-entity healthcare system, including a top-ranked academic medical center and Level 1 trauma hospital; Health Sciences Administration and the units reporting to it, including animal research and risk management; and The health science schools (Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Pharmacy, and Public Health), including student issues, graduate medical education, business transactions and contracts, clinical care issues, and compliance matters. Should have 5 years of legal experience, demonstrating legal acumen, practical problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills. Healthcare-related or higher education experience is preferred. Must have graduated from a law school accredited by the ABA or completed the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program and be licensed to practice law in Washington state.
