San Diego office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks employment litigation attorney with 4+ years of substantive experience in employment litigation with a desire for trial or arbitration experience including: discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims; FLSA and wage and hour claims, including wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits; legal research; drafting motions, pleadings and legal memoranda; taking and defending depositions; managing discovery-related activities; drafting EEOC position statements, DFEH responses, and conducting witness interviews and depositions. The candidate should have a background in providing advice and counsel to employers on federal and state employment law compliance, including COVID-related laws, regulations and orders; ADA/FEHA compliance and disability accommodation; FMLA, CFRA, PDL and other employee leave compliance. Experience in labor relations is also advantageous including labor negotiations, grievances and arbitrations, MMBA compliance, PERB/NLRB litigation and administrative hearings and appeals.
