Paralegal/Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Organize and manage deposition notices, subpoenas, motions, briefs, and other legal documents and exhibits. Create pleading shells for discovery, responses, and motions. Research Court and Local Rules to ensure all matters are handled per guidelines. Compile documents for discovery responses. Schedule meetings and case related appointments. Complete travel arrangements and expense reports. Support and assist attorneys as needed. Maintain attorney s calendars, dockets, and litigation deadlines. Perform case maintenance duties including filing and serving documents in federal and state court, reviewing case files, assembling necessary information, and updating case progress in files. Maintain and organize the office record-keeping system and ensure accurate maintenance of litigation/transactional files. Revise, finalize, and file correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents with appropriate courts.

Qualifications: Paralegal Certified. Associate s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is preferred. 5+ years professional paralegal and litigation assistant experience at a law firm that practices civil litigation. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, research methods, and procedures. Proficient in case management software. Very proficient in Microsoft suite, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel. Employment law experience a plus.
