Duties:

  • Handle a range of appellate matters, including appeals before the . Supreme Court and federal appellate courts.
  • Contribute to the “appellate eyes at trial” practice, focusing on issue preservation and key motions at the trial court level.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex issues.
  • Draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents for appellate cases.
  • Assist in preparing for oral arguments and collaborate on litigation strategy.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to provide strategic counsel to clients.
  • Manage case timelines and contribute to overall case management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably with a federal or state appellate court.
  • Highly motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex legal projects efficiently.
  • Strong academic background and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the relevant state bar and in good standing.

Skills:
