Columbia office of our client seeks funding attorney with 1-3 years of experience in trust accounting, real estate law, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate will manage checks and wires in accordance with settlement statements. Will report to the Disbursement Manager. Disburse checks and wires in accordance with settlement statements. Monitor banks’ approval of checks and wires. Answers the phone and processes client requests. Maintain records of various client accounts. Ensures compliance with banks’ wire cut-off times. Willingly perform other duties as assigned or requested. Send FedEx packages with financial documentation. Maintain knowledge of state-specific disbursement procedures.
