Duties: Provide comprehensive legal services for civil issues in pursuit of GHLA’s mission and priorities. Appear in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level, and before administrative agencies. Work on systemic advocacy efforts, including impact litigation and policy advocacy.
Qualification and ExperienceQualifications: Juris Doctor degree. Member of Connecticut Bar preferred, or eligibility to waive in or sit for the February or July 2022 CT Bar Exam. Superior oral and written communication skills. Excellent administrative and organizational skills, including the ability to self-direct. A dedication to social justice and to advocating for people living in poverty, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and commitment to working as a team. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
