A reputable and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its team in Pasadena, CA. The attorney will be responsible for working on various litigation matters, developing and executing case strategies, managing all aspects of litigation (including investigation, pleadings, motions, discovery, pretrial, and trial work), and maintaining strong client ;
Location
Duties
- Develop and execute litigation strategies for both new and existing cases
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and pretrial and trial preparation
- Represent clients in court, at depositions, and during other legal proceedings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic advice
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure case success
- Handle legal research, case analysis, and the drafting of legal documents
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by working effectively with team members and clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school
- Member in good standing of the California State Bar
- 3–7 years of experience in civil litigation
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage a full caseload
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, and case analysis skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Education
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
- Bachelor’s degree required
Certifications
- California State Bar (Required)
Skills
- Experience in civil litigation, including depositions, court appearances, and trials
- Strong legal research, writing, and case management skills
