Contracts and Compliance Specialist The candidate will report to the Vice President/Compliance Officer and assist in administration of government contracts and client related compliance activities. Will act as point person and initial contact for all government related business activity including communication to external as well as internal stakeholders. Oversee and track government clients through entire RFP/RFQ life cycle ensuring that all deadlines are met. Review RFPs, client contracts, and BAAs to assess and ensure compliance. Assist in maintaining compliance policies, procedures, monitoring and training to meet client compliance obligations (HIPAA, CMS Fraud Waste and Abuse, Exclusion lists, etc.). Assist with inquiries, complaints, reporting, audits and reviews. Participate in client meetings to provide information regarding LSA's compliance program. Conduct compliance audits and report findings to management
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree and 3+ yearsâ€™ experience in similar role with experience in contracts or compliance, or in a legal/paralegal capacity. Previous regulatory/accreditation experience is highly desirable. Must be resourceful in researching new regulations and updates. Knowledge of laws and/or regulations in area of compliance (HIPAA, CMS, TJC, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skill is essential. Should be Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
