Affordable Housing Attorney The candidate should preferably have 5-7 years of affordable housing experience. Must have a demonstrated commitment to this practice area, such as experience with mortgage revenue bond financings and restructurings, financings involving low-income housing tax credits and historic tax credits, transactions with bonds backed by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and GNMA, FHA insurance and other forms of HUD risk-sharing transactions and letter of credit transactions. Experience with New Markets Tax Credits a plus. Should be a member of the Ohio Bar or eligible to waive in, and have a strong academic record.
