Profile

Commercial Real Estate Paralegal The candidate will have an undergraduate degree or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program with at least 3-5 years’ experience. The position is responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate purchase and financing including: Review and interpretation of title documents; Drafting opinions on title; Review of purchase and sale contracts; Review of corporate documents and drafting of resolutions; Drafting of closing statements, deeds, UCC financing statements and other documents needed to close a transaction. Must work autonomously and be part of a team. Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects. This position involves heavy client interaction, which requires good organizational, written and oral communication skills. Candidates must be proficient in all Microsoft applications, and experience with South Carolina transactions is a plus.
