Duties:

  • Independently litigate civil cases from start to finish, including depositions, oral arguments, and discovery.
  • Handle cases involving government liability defense, bad faith, commercial general liability, and professional liability defense.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct depositions and oral arguments in court.
  • Advise clients on case strategies and litigation options.
  • Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and case resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Significant experience in depositions, oral arguments, and discovery.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of independent case handling.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Arizona.

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and case management skills.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to conduct depositions and oral arguments effectively.
