Division Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for performing and managing legal and accounting responsibilities of Acquisition Department. Support and coordinate Acquisition and Development Departments. Provide Real Estate support to Supervising Attorneys. Draft and edit various types of contracts, including acquisition and disposition of real estate, grant deeds, assignments, bill of sale and CC&R's. Monitor, manage and coordinate closing process with buyer, seller, escrow, title company including preparation of closing checklist and distribution for signature. Coordinate and comply with internal requirements for funding requests and document submission. Review and analyze title and surveys. Organize land contracts, create and maintain land files (feasibility through closing). Maintain critical date report(s) and ensure deadlines are met. Provide administrative support and participate in department initiatives and projects as needed. Must have Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 3-6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have 5 years Residential Real Estate experience.
