Commercial Real Estate Legal Project Analyst The candidate will work with the team of legal professionals on the Commercial Legal Team within Bankâ€™s Law Division to research, analyze and implement solutions related to due diligence, documentation and closing issues arising out of internally documented commercial loan transactions, with specific emphasis on real estate secured commercial loan transactions in the Small Business and Community Banking business lines. Responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing credit approvals, existing and proposed loan documentation, and due diligence documentation associated with commercial loan transactions; developing and monitoring requirements for loan closings and modifications; drafting loan and release documentation to supplement internally generated documents; and communicating requirements to impacted parties. The candidate will work directly with personnel from Bankâ€™s business lines and support divisions, such as Bankâ€™s National Wholesale Lending Services division, as well as title insurance companies and similar outside vendors. Will be required to prioritize work to meet transaction-driven deadlines.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent work experience. Should have 8-10 years of experience in project management activities. Must have 3+ years of managerial experience. 5+ yearsâ€™ experience working in a paralegal or project manager capacity for a law firm, bank, title insurance company or comparable employer, with an emphasis on real estate secured transactions is desired. A paralegal degree is preferred. Effective written and oral communication skills are essential. A general knowledge of computer applications, legal research and financial transactions is required. Strong interviewing, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills are necessary.`
