Paralegal Duties: Manage contract approval process and the contracts library. Review transactional documents and summarize key terms. Manage the execution of standardized legal contracts such as non-disclosure agreements, subordination and estoppel agreements, AIA contracts and standard Goodwill contracts. Facilitate timely responses to standard Landlord notices, municipality correspondence, and legal notices. Review and manage routine filings required of regulatory bodies. Assist with real estate transactions such as leases and real estate closings; manage the database for all Goodwill leases. Provide legal support for specialized employment verifications, garnishments and wage notices. Conduct annual review of corporate policies; including researching best practices and current regulations to ensure policies are compliant and up to date. Provide administrative support for the organizations ethics and compliance programs. Manage and track legal department’s key performance indicators and generate timely reports. Draft corporate resolutions, consents, minutes and other governance documents. Provide litigation support to inside and outside counsel. Manage the litigation hold process, coordinate discovery requests, and maintain pleadings books and discovery files.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Four year college business degree preferred. Certificate in paralegal studies preferred. 5+ years paralegal experience. Strong Microsoft Office Skills and an aptitude for technology.
