ProfileParaprofessional - Family Law Forensic Accounting Services The candidate will manage the practice of the assigned Director. Wll manage discovery documents using proprietary paperless software. Maintain good relationships with clients and attorneys. Assist in preparation of exhibits for trials, depositions and hearings. Prepare discovery responses. Manage project assignments. Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars and oversee deadlines. Supervise billing and assist with receivables. Assess potential conflicts of interest related to prospective clients. Keep comprehensive files and maintain documents neatly. Prepare engagement letters. Complete additional projects as needed. Answer phones, take messages, copy/scan documents and prepare mail for delivery. Handle a variety of situations involving the administrative functions of the Firm. Provide coverage support for other administrative staff. Bachelor’s degree completed or in process is needed. Should have 5+ years of experience in a paralegal/legal administrative role. Prior experience working in a professional services firm is needed. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skill is needed. Excellent typing skills and computer literacy including a solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks and remain highly organized is needed.
