Paralegal 3 The candidate will support the General Counsel and other attorneys with corporate governance matters, including drafting of meeting minutes and agendas, assisting with action items in preparation for Board Meetings, and maintaining corporate books and records. Will prepare and file legal documents with appropriate entities, as required, and overall corporate maintenance of legal entities. Assist with merger and acquisition transactions pre and post-closing. Coordinate, prepare and organize a variety of legal documents, always ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and collaboration with other departments. Provide legal and administrative assistance to attorneys and management. Take accountability in delivering value to Mitchell and its customers, partners, and vendors. Assist in reviewing non-disclosure agreements and other contracts. Assist with insurance-related activities, including contract requirements and RFP insurance coverage questions. Should have Bachelorâ€™s degree. Paralegal Certificate or other legal qualification is preferred. Should have 3-5 years of directly applicable experience. Direct experience in working with board materials is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent interpersonal and organizational skill is essential. Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel is essential.
