Litigation Paralegal The candidate will be responsible for case preparation from beginning to end. Must be experienced in: Drafting/filing motions and pleadings in both State, Federal, and Appellate Courts; Electronic record systems, including Trial Director, iPro Eclipse, Westlaw, and related programs; Answering and drafting discovery and disclosure statements; Preparing deposition notices, as well as organizing, maintaining, and preparing deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries; Assisting with mediation statements and the mediation process; Calendaring/docketing litigation deadlines; Coordinating travel schedules and scheduling depositions; Assisting with expert and lay witness interviews; Organizing and reviewing medical records; Conducting online research; Attending court hearings and trials; Working overtime as needed; and Performing other litigation-related tasks as needed. Should have 5+ years of current Arizona litigation experience. Paralegal certificate/degree or degree in legal related studies required, with Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Must have excellent computer knowledge, which includes proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook and Excel), Adobe Acrobat, FileSite, and court-filing applications.
