A law firm in New York City is seeking a Junior to Senior Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The successful candidate will possess solid experience with asset-backed securities transactions and other structured finance transactions, such as warehouse financing and asset-based lending. Ideal candidates will have strong law school academic credentials and relevant, sophisticated law firm and transaction experience.

Duties:

• Represent clients in asset-backed securities transactions and other structured finance deals, including warehouse financing and asset-based lending.
• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents related to structured finance.
• Conduct due diligence, including the analysis of underlying assets and collateral.
• Develop and implement strategies for securitization transactions and asset-backed financing.
• Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in structured finance.
• Provide legal advice on structuring and executing complex finance transactions.
• Manage and supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed.
• Assist in the development and execution of creative and effective solutions for structured finance matters.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in structured finance and securitization practices.
• Solid experience with asset-backed securities transactions, warehouse financing, and asset-based lending.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Proven ability to handle sophisticated legal matters and transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York (or ability to promptly obtain admission if not currently licensed).
